Robin Bailey
Robin Bailey is a specialist Financial Adviser who has been involved in providing independent financial advice to recipients of damages awards since 2000. His areas of expertise not only include all aspects of personal injury & clinical negligence awards but also matters under the jurisdiction of the Court of Protection as well as later life and vulnerable client matters. Robin is a committee member of the London Court of Protection Practitioners Association (CoPPA) and a member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA).
Daniel Edmundson
Daniel has spent most of his career helping to support individuals with their financial planning. Sheralee Ellis
Sheralee has 30 years’ of experience in financial services, the last 23 of which she has specialised in giving independent financial advice to recipients of damages awards and their legal advisers. She is widely regarded as one of the leaders in her field. She provides financial advice on awards for Individuals, Trusts and Deputyships. She is a Financial Expert Witness in Court cases and she lectures on the investment of personal injury awards including topics such as Personal Injury Trusts and Periodical Payments. She is the co-author of ‘Future Loss in Practice – Periodical Payments & Lump Sums’ published by Lexis Nexis Butterworths.
Nick Leech
Nick has extensive experience in the financial services industry spanning many years and covering a number of areas. Consequently Nick has built excellent relationships with a network of contacts in the industry. His areas of expertise include individual and corporate planning – mainly for higher net worth clients, independent financial advice, periodical payment reports, Court of Protection cases, investment of damages awards and Personal Injury Trusts. Nick provides advice to both claimants and defendants, before and after settlement. He also contributes to legal periodicals and writes topical articles for clients and professional connections. Nick is widely regarded as being at forefront of his field and is well known for delivering a knowledgeable, no nonsense and pragmatic independent approach to all financial instructions he undertakes.
Nick Martin
Nick has been a financial adviser for more than 28 years, specialising in personal injury investment for the last 21. During that time he has built up detailed specialist knowledge of Periodical Payments, Personal Injury Trusts and complex High Court and Court of Protection investment cases. Nick offers expert advice to both claimants and defendants in personal injury/clinical negligence litigation matters and offers independent financial advice on investment planning post-settlement. Nick regularly provides talks and seminars on personal injury investment matters to legal organisations and firms.
Peter Rhodes
Peter joined our team after running his own successful independent financial advice business and he brings a wide range of expertise covering the complete range of individual and corporate financial planning issues including mortgages, retirement and investment planning, protection and inheritance tax advice. He also advises clients and members of the legal profession on personal injury trusts and trustee investments.
Brent Ridings
Brent has been an independent financial adviser for over 30 years. He has a wide range of expertise, particularly in helping high net worth clients with their retirement planning, taxefficient investments and inheritance tax planning. He now also spends a considerable amount of his time providing post-settlement financial planning services and investment advice to professional deputies and trustees together with the families they represent.
Andrew Sands
Andrew is an Independent Financial Adviser providing expert advice to both claimants and defendants, before and after settlement. His areas of expertise include expert witness periodical payment reports, Court of Protection cases, investment of damages awards and Personal Injury Trusts. Jennifer is known as a leader in this specialist field. She is regularly instructed as an expert witness in large loss cases. She spends the majority of her professional time providing postsettlement financial planning services and investment advice to professional deputies and trustees together with the families they represent. Ian Woodall
With over 13 years of experience in financial services, Ian has dedicated nearly 7 years to specialising in Personal Injury and Court of Protection Work. Joining Chase de Vere in October 2021 presented a unique opportunity to collaborate with Jennifer Stone, a renowned specialist in this field. Working alongside Jennifer, one of the leading experts in this particular area of advice, has allowed Ian to deepen my expertise and contribute to the advancement of client-centric solutions.
Sam Francis
Sam has spent eight years of his career working with Sheralee and Robin in the Personal Injury and Court of Protection team and is accredited with the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Sam has assisted with both pre settlement and post settlement matters in order to help individuals achieve their objectives. Sam also assists the London Court of Protection Practitioners Association (CoPPA) committee on a regular basis. Outside of work, Sam is a Football Association qualified Referee and is working towards achieving Chartered Status.
Emma Jones
Emma is a dedicated professional with over 7 years of experience at Chase de Vere, where she initially spent 3 years as an administration team manager before transitioning to the role of Private Wealth Adviser in November 2021. In January 2023, she joined the PICOP team, collaborating closely with Nick Martin to leverage his extensive knowledge and expertise. Alongside her work, Emma is actively pursuing her studies towards achieving Chartered Status, demonstrating her commitment to continuous growth and professional development.
